he Kapil Sharma Show garnered massive rating on its first week. The show secured the second spot with 8.1 million impressions. Comedienne Bharti Singh who plays Kapil's neighbour Titli Yadav, thanked TKSS fans for a great start. She wrote, "Thank you India for the love and making us number 1 show on TV. We are overwhelmed. We are back & We will keep India entertaining this way." Bharti Singh spoke to Tellychakkar about the massive opening to and said, "I am elated with the show’s opening ratings. Krushna and I both are happy to join the show. Kapil has given us a very warm welcome and told us whatever we are comfortable doing, we can continue doing it. The amount of talent that Kapil has, I am sure he is going to take the show to another level and break all the records. For viewers, we three coming under one roof is like watching Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan together. The credit behind the show’s success goes to Kapil’s wife, who has proved to be a lucky charm for him. I am happy naye saal ki shuruwat aisi hui."  Kapil Sharma tied the knot with Ginni Chatrath on December 12. Kapil didn't take a break after his wedding but soon started shooting for his show. The Kapil Sharma Show returned after a break of many months as its first season went off air in September 2017. In between, Kapil came up with another show Family Time With Kapil Sharma in April 2018 that failed to connect with the viewers.
